Dr. Vinayak Bhat, Assistant Professor of 化学istry, is a computational physical organic chemist whose research interests are designing and discovering organic functional materials. He completed his integrated Master’degree from the 印度n Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram, 印度. He obtained his Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Chad Risko at the University of Kentucky.

At Columbia College, Dr. Bhat primarily teaches Organic 化学istry and 理论物理ical 化学istry sequence. 

When not at college, Dr. Bhat enjoys exploring the outdoors and creating videos for his YouTube channel @化学istrywithcode.

I love the small class size and 1-on-1 interactions with my students.
